School Library Media Program
The vision of the library program is to ensure that all students will be given the opportunity to become "effective users of ideas and information."
Goals:
Provide access to diverse learning materials
Provide instruction on how to acquire knowledge from both print and digital material and foster the use of ideas and information
Work with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of students
Resources/Services:

- 30 workstations available with Internet access
- One (1) b/w printer and (1) one color printer
- Five (5) projectors
- 30 laptop computers
- Two (2) eReaders
- One (1) Portable smart board with projector*
- One (1) Digital cameras*
- TVs with DVD/VHS combo
- Access to online databases, downloadable books, audiobooks, art prints, newspapers, magazines, and the library catalog (OPAC) Diverse Collection (ESL, Hi/Lo)
- Professional development workshops
- Information literacy lessons, author visits, student-centered programs, and special presentations
- Interlibrary loan (We can borrow library books for students and staff from local school libraries in the region through a courier service.)
